In short

Embodiment Lab runs locally on your Mac. We do not collect any personal data through the app: no account, no analytics, no tracking, no advertising. We do not receive your conversations, sessions, images or files.

Data that stays on your Mac

Sessions, chats, logs, inner images, notebook entries, documents and settings are stored on your Mac – in the app’s storage or in a folder you choose. You decide whether to keep, export or delete them. Summaries for long sessions are created on your Mac with Apple’s on-device models.

Connections the app makes only at your request

• Model downloads from Hugging Face (huggingface.co). Hugging Face receives your IP address and the files requested.
• Web search and page reading, only if you switch them on. Search queries are passed to public search services (for example DuckDuckGo) via the open-source library ddgs; websites you or the model open receive your IP address and the request.
• Online models, only if you add your own API key. The conversation (and, if used, attachments and summaries) is sent to the provider you choose – Anthropic, OpenAI or Google – and processed under that provider’s terms. Your key is stored only in the macOS keychain on this Mac.

Apple

If you have allowed sharing of diagnostics with app developers in macOS, Apple may provide us with anonymised crash reports. Purchases and TestFlight are handled by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy.

This website and e-mail

This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no external resources. It is delivered by Cloudflare, which processes technical access data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site. If you write to us, we use your message only to answer you and delete it when it is no longer needed.

Your rights

Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (and, where applicable, the GDPR) you may ask for access, correction or deletion of personal data we hold about you. As the app does not send us your data, we usually hold none except your e-mails to us. Contact support@auric-design.com.

Changes

If the app’s data practices change, we will update this policy and its date.
