Which Mac do I need? Apple silicon and macOS 26 or later. 16 GB of memory for the smaller models; about 34 GB of free memory for Gemma 4 31B (8-bit).

Where are my sessions stored? On your Mac – in the app’s own storage or in a folder you choose during setup. You can open, export and delete them at any time.

The model answers slowly or not at all. Large models need time, especially on the first turn and after resuming a long session. Close other memory-intensive apps, or choose a smaller model. The built-in self-test checks whether all parts work together.

What does “Stop!!” do? If the model says it, the session ends immediately with a debriefing and a farewell and cannot be resumed. In the chat, it ends the conversation.

Can I use an online model? Yes, with your own API key (Anthropic, OpenAI or Google). The key is stored only in your Mac’s keychain. The conversation is then sent to that provider under its terms.

Can I try the app without downloading models? Yes. The view mode shows a real, shortened example session (with the model’s consent) without any model.
